Emily Gereffi (MALAS 05)

Emily Gereffi (MALAS '05 and BSFS '02) is an International Trade Specialist in the Office of Western Hemisphere at the Department of Commerce. Ms. Gereffi joined the Department of Commerce as a Presidential Management Fellow after applying for the fellowship program while at Georgetown. Her first position was at the Trade Information Center in the Commercial Service.

While a Presidential Management Fellow, Emily also completed two rotations outside of the Department of Commerce, one with the Trade Roots group at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and a second at the Central America desk of the Office of the United States Trade Representative. Currently she works for Deputy Assistant Secretary Walter Bastian (also a Georgetown alumnus), on commercial issues pertaining to Latin America.
