CLAS Community Network Shares Information

The Center for Latin American Studies is dedicated to developing a comprehensive outreach program by creating an extensive network of institutions and scholars who are interested in providing information and sparking new debates about the cultures, history, and peoples of Latin America. Through outreach resources and events, CLAS aims to promote interest in the region while breaking down commonly held stereotypes.

More about the Center

Our outreach programs have multiple targets: we reach the Washington, D.C. population through arts and cultural events; work with students and educators through workshops and training sessions; and collaborate with a variety of private, governmental, and academic institutions through workshops and lectures. Sharing our knowledge and deepening awareness and appreciation of Latin America is an elemental part of the Center's work.
