Welcome, CLAS alumni! Over 700 students have completed their MA in Latin American Studies through CLAS since its inception in 1959. We want to keep in touch with our alumni after they leave campus. Please keep us updated on all your accomplishments! CLAS maintains an Alumni Database with up-to-date contact and career information to facilitate continued interaction between and among our alumni and current students. If you would like a brief update on your life after CLAS to appear in our website or an upcoming issue of our newsletter, please email clas@georgetown.edu

If you are interested in participating in networking or mentorship programs with us, please let us know at clas@georgetown.edu.

MESSAGE FROM THE CLAS ALUMNI GROUP:

Fellow CLAS Alumni,

As you may know, we've spent the last year developing the Washington DC-based CLAS Alumni network.  We've had great success, hosting happy hours, dancing and wine nights, and now, working on building an alumni scholarship fund (more details to come in the coming months).

It's time now to broaden our scope and expand into new territories: New York City and Miami!  We're looking for energetic CLAS alumni who are willing to help kickoff these regional CLAS alumni groups.  If you are willing and interested, please reply back to this email or write to clasalumni@gmail.com.  If you're responding about the Miami group, please also make sure to copy Jose Rebolledo Flores at j.rebolledoflores@umiami.edu.

On a related note, CLAS Alum Samantha Weisz ('08) will be moving to Mexico City soon to work for HSBC.  If you're in the Mexico City-area and are interested in meeting up, please contact Samantha at samweisz10@hotmail.com.

Cheers,

Keetah & the CLAS Alumni Group
