Bio: Duowei is originally from Changchun, China and has lived in Spain, Ecuador, and Mexico. He obtained a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from the Jilin University. He then served as a third secretary at the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Ecuador and Mexico. Working within a trade context for eight years in Latin America, Duowei was influenced to go further into the international field.
By pursuing an MA in Latin American Studies, Duowei hopes to obtain the necessary tools to address many of the issues affecting the China-Latin American relationship.
