Bio: Duowei is originally from Changchun, China and has lived in Spain, Ecuador and Mexico. He obtained a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from the Jilin University. He then served as a third secretary at the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Ecuador and Mexico. Working within a trade context for eight years in Latin America, Duowei was influenced to go further into the international field.
By pursuing a MA in Latin American Studies, Duowei hopes to obtain the necessary tools to address many of the issues affecting the China-Latin American relationship.
