Patrick Kim

Patrick is a commissioned officer and graduate of the United States Military Academy.  In 2012, the Army selected Patrick to serve as a foreign area officer, regionally focused on Latin America.  Patrick has most recently served at the U.S. Embassy in Montevideo, Uruguay, where he liaised between the embassy’s Office of Security Cooperation and the Escuela Nacional de de Operaciones de Paz del Uruguay.

David Mauer was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where he grew up politically engaged with a passion for foreign policy. He attended Centre College in Danville, Kentucky where he graduated magna cum laude in 2018 with a B.A. in Spanish and politics.

Lauren is originally from South Florida and is coming to Georgetown after recently graduating from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in Latin American Studies and International Affairs. In college, she spent time at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru studying history and politics. At CLAS, she is pursuing her interests in international governance and diplomacy.

She obtained her undergraduate degree in Journalism and History at Northeastern University in 2013. Upon completion of her studies, she moved back to Colombia, where she worked at the International Desk for one of the private networks, Caracol Television.
