R.O. Niederstrasser is half German and Cuban, originally from Berlin. He is interested in how nations and regions solve conflicts and engage in diplomatic talks. Currently, he is an analyst for several programs at CNN en Español and Junior Fellow to former U.S. Ambassador to Cuba, Jeffrey DeLaurentis.
Javier is from Buenos Aires, Argentina and has also recently acquired Italian citizenship. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Legal Translation from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 2013 and immediately after graduating began working as a Visa Assistant at the Consulate of the U.S. Embassy in Argentina.
Rocío graduated from Wellesley College with a B.A. in Political Science & Latin American Studies. Her junior year, Rocío studied abroad at the University of Cordoba in Spain taking comparative politics and explored revolutionary movements between Europe and the Americas.

Mali Rubin is a Washington DC native who remained close to home to obtain her BA at Georgetown University. As an accelerated MA student, Mali will be completing her final year of undergraduate coursework as she begins graduate studies.
After finishing her BA in International Relations at Augsburg University in 2010, Jessica worked in international and community development in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and across the United States.
