Center for Latin American Studies

The CLAS NRC hosts a free annual summer seminar for Washington, D.C. area high school students. This seminar aims to promote interest in Latin America while allowing students to explore career options in the field of international relations, particularly within government. Past seminar themes have included U.S. policy toward Latin America and arts and artistic expressions in Latin America through history. Teachers and schools nominate students to partipcate in each summer seminar.  Nominations should be submitted before May 15.
