The Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) hosted its annual Welcome Back Fiesta for Georgetown community members.
On Friday, September 13, 2024 the Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) warmly welcomed students, faculty, and other community members to commemorate the start of the new academic year. First-year Master’s candidates introduced themselves and shared their diverse personal backgrounds and research interests with the community. Decorations and a delicious spread of empanadas added a colorful and flavorful touch to the festivities. The event celebrated and strengthened the sense of community and collaboration that is central to CLAS.
