“Reflejos”: Read the Inaugural Issue Now
The Georgetown University Center for Latin American Studies is proud to present this inaugural issue of Reflejos, a digital collection of academic reflections on themes relevant to Latin America and the Caribbean.
Reflejos features two types of scholarship: research summaries (e.g., brief synopses of recent research experiences, initial findings from a new research project or conclusions from a recently defended thesis) and informed commentaries (brief discussions of contemporary political, economic, social, legal or cultural dynamics in or relating to Latin America and the Caribbean). Each issue also includes a list of the books published by CLAS faculty partners in the calendar year preceding the issue. Finally, we offer some facts and figures about CLAS and our programs and activities to give readers a sense of the Center’s vibrancy.
We hope you will review these pages and marvel, as we do, at the breadth, depth and quality of the work produced by the CLAS community. Click here to view Reflejos in Canva. Click here to view Reflejos as a PDF.
