On Thursday, May 1, the Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) hosted students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members in celebration of the MA candidates who completed their capstone presentations and the end of the 2024-2025 academic year.
CLAS Director Prof. Kapiszewski delivered a heartfelt toast of appreciation and congratulations to the students who were completing their capstones, their minor thesis projects, and their graduate certificates. First year students were excited to support and learn from their classmates as they prepare to embark on their own capstone research. This celebration highlighted and reinforced the spirit of community and collaboration at the heart of CLAS.
