“Environment and Sustainability in the Americas”: CLAS Colloquium
Join CLAS at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6 in the CCAS boardroom (ICC 241) for the first CLAS Colloquium of the Spring 2026 semester, which will address the environment and sustainability in the Americas.
The Center for Latin American Studies’ “CLAS Colloquium” series focuses on central issues and challenges facing Latin America and the Caribbean by foregrounding the intersection of theory and practice and prioritizing an interdisciplinary approach by inviting participants who work in at least two different disciplines.
Through these accessible, topical sessions, we offer our students and the CLAS community an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussion about critical dynamics in the region. A brief reception will follow the discussion at 5:30 p.m. Please RSVP here.
