“Institutional and Political Crisis in Peru”: LAC Moments

On Oct. 27 at 12:30 p.m., join CLAS in ICC 662 as we welcome Alberto Vergara, Cynthia McClintock and Michael Shifter for a LAC Moments discussion on the ongoing institutional and political crisis in Peru, which is of undeniable significance for the country and the region.

Alberto Vergara, professor of social and political science at Universidad del Pacífico (Lima, Peru); Cynthia McClintock, professor of political science at George Washington University; and Michael Shifter, adjunct professor at the Georgetown University Center for Latin American Studies, will each take about eight minutes to offer their reactions to and insights on this moment, and we will then open the floor to questions, comments and discussion. A key goal of the “LAC Moments” series is to generate discussion and dialogue within our community about these critical developments, so please join us and bring your thoughts, reactions and questions!
