LAC MOMENTS: Reflections on the U.S. Elections

On Monday, November 11, 2024, the Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) gathered its community to reflect on the results of the 2024 U.S. elections and their implications for relations between the U.S. and Latin America and the Caribbean.

In this second “LAC MOMENTS” of the academic year, “Reflections on the U.S. Elections,” the CLAS community reflected on and shared their observations and thoughts about the results of the 2024 US elections, and discussed their implications for Latin America and the Caribbean.

CLAS Director, Professor Diana Kapiszewski and Dr. Angelo Rivero Santos, CLAS Director of Academic Affairs, facilitated the conversation. Students were able to share  their thoughts, analysis, concerns, and hopes for the future.
