CLAS-Funded Research Showcase: LARS
On Oct. 22 at 12:30 p.m., join CLAS in ICC 302-P as we welcome Pedro Lara de Arruda, a doctoral student in the department of government, and Camille Gaskin Reyes, an adjunct professor in CLAS, for the third Latin American Research Seminar of the Fall 2025 semester.
Both presenters will discuss research they have completed with the help of CLAS research funding. Georgetown University doctoral candidate Pedro Lara de Arruda presents his research on “Redistribution and Coalition-Building: The Politics of Targeting and Universalism in Developing Countries,” while Adjunct Professor Camille Gaskin Reyes presents her research on “Multi-hazard Vulnerability and Resilience in the Caribbean.” Lunch will be served.
