Bio: David Mauer was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where he grew up politically engaged with a passion for foreign policy. He attended Centre College in Danville, Kentucky where he graduated magna cum laude in 2018 with a B.A. in Spanish and politics. While there, he studied abroad in Mérida, Mexico and presented research on the relationship between free trade and American conservatism as well as social analyses of the works of Juan Rulfo. In addition to coursework, David works closely with Capitol Hill offices in an effort to expand his knowledge of and participation in U.S. trade policy.
