Ariadna Condezo Trinidad

Hometown: Lima, Peru
Bio: Ariadna is a candidate is the M.A. Latin American Studies at Georgetown SFS. She graduated in May 2025 from Tufts University with a B.A. in International Relations and Latin American Studies, and a minor in Peace and Justice Studies. At Tufts, she held diverse leadership positions. She was a peer advisor for the International Center, a member of the Tisch College Student Advisory Council, and part of the Latin American Committee e-board. Ariadna’s passion for the Latin American region led her to conduct research and seek professional opportunities. In Colombia, she studied President Petro’s Total Peace policy, and in Mexico she examined the role of civil society organizations in advancing freedom of the press. She interned at the Wilson Center, where she assisted the research of Dr. Jana Morgan about “Exclusionary Democracy: How Ethnoracial Hierarchies Threaten Democratic Citizenship.” She was also selected as an Oslo Scholar with the Center for Applied NonViolent Action and Strategies, where she further explored questions of democracy, civil resistance, and human rights in Latin America. Ariadna is passionate about democracy, transitional justice, diplomacy, and international development in Latin America. She hopes to pursue a career in international or multilateral organizations, contributing to policies that advance human rights and equitable development in the region.
