Bio: Mali Rubin is a Washington DC native who remained close to home to obtain her BA at Georgetown University. As an accelerated MA student, Mali will be completing her final year of undergraduate coursework as she begins graduate studies. As an undergraduate, Mali traveled and studied in Costa Rica and Spain (twice). During her time at CLAS, Mali will continue her internship with the World Bank’s Gender Group, where she exclusively works with the Gender-Based Violence issues. Based on her undergraduate coursework in Sociology, Spanish, and History, Mali’s main interests are related to ending violence against women and girls, as well as drug and human trafficking reduction.
