Bio: Andres Celis-Madrid (CAS ’26) is a senior majoring in Government with a minor in Latin American Studies. He serves as a Research Associate with the States and Institutions of Governance in Latin America (SIGLA) project, where he focuses on institutions of government accountability across the region. He has also gained professional experience through internships with the International Republican Institute’s Latin America and Caribbean division and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Americas team. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, his interest in the region is rooted in a commitment to strengthening the rule of law and advancing regional integration as essential responses to Latin America’s challenges.
