Bio: Daniel Antonio Miguel, a native of Miami, Florida, is a first-generation graduate student in Latin American Studies at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida in 2023 where he studied history, concentrating on colonial Latin America, and obtained a minor in international development and humanitarian assistance. Daniel’s professional experience is rooted in the nonprofit sector, where he has worked with organizations advancing environmental education, workforce and youth development, housing and community development policy, and climate and energy policy. At Georgetown, Daniel is pursuing research on policy solutions to strengthen education systems, foster sustainable development, enhance security, and advance human rights in Latin America.
