Fabiola is a second-year graduate student at CLAS. Fabiola moved to the United States in 2019 to study at Bryn Mawr College, where she double majored in International Studies and Experimental Psychology, with a minor in Latin American Studies. Fabiola has been involved in projects focused on social justice and community-driven development since middle-school, which has pushed their curiosity and interest in different issues regarding Latin America. As a student at CLAS, Fabiola has been able to conduct interdisciplinary analysis and research on topics relating to foreign affairs, South-South cooperation and regional integration, grass-roots and development, political economy, and political psychology.This diverse set of interest and background has allowed Fabiola to experience working in varied fields, such as consultancy, data collection and analysis, clinical neuroscience research, historical research, multilateral institutions, and recently public policy.
Currently, Fabiola works as a Research Assistant for Dr. Erick Langer; is a Graduate Student Program Assistant at CLAS; and is part of the Latin American & the Caribbean Foreign Affairs Association (LAFAA) e-board.
Concentration: Political Economy and Development.
