Bio: Giovanni Garcia is a first-year Master's candidate for Latin American Studies on an accelerated track, currently finishing his undergraduate degree in Global Business with minors in Spanish and Latin American Studies. His leadership experience includes serving as Vice Chair of the Student Activities Commission (SAC) at Georgetown University, where he played a key role in overseeing student organization activities and funding. Giovanni also interned at RISE, a national non-profit focused on equity and empowerment through sports education, where he developed skills in project management and social advocacy. In Spring 2023, he further enriched his academic and cultural understanding by studying abroad in Argentina, inspiring his to enroll in the Master's Program with the Center for Latin American Studies.
