Bio: I am Madeline Kelly, a senior in the SFS studying International Politics with a concentration in foreign policy and pursuing a minor in Latin American Studies. I first became interested in Latin American politics during my gap year which I spent studying the region's politics in Guatemala and Costa Rica. I have since designed my studies at Georgetown around Latin American politics, working on many research projects primarily centered on Guatemalan and Venezuelan politics. In my sophomore year I joined Caravel, a student-run international affairs newspaper, where I wrote for the Latin American regional team. I currently work as a Research Assistant for SIGLA on the Venezuela team where I continue to pursue this interest.
