Bio: Samantha is a senior in the SFS studying international politics with minors in Latin American studies and journalism. Her interest in Latin America comes from her own family background in the Dominican Republic, and pursuing the minor has been a fulfilling way to combine her studies with practical application. She is currently a research associate with SIGLA at the Center for Latin American Studies, focusing on institutions of government accountability. Outside of CLAS, she serves as a communications intern with Human Rights First and is Executive Manager for Staff at the Georgetown Voice.
