On Tuesday, November 19, the Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) held a virtual panel featuring three alumni of the MA program—Elliot J. Anderson (2022), Program Assistant for the International Institute on Race, Equality, and Human Rights, Marielle Septién (2017), a policy manager for LATAM at TikTok, Nicolás Albertoni (2016), and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay—who spoke about how their time at CLAS shaped and informed their careers. Their thoughtful and insightful contributions included meaningful references to CLAS programs and professors that had an impact on them.
