Bio: Rebecca is a second-year M.A. student at CLAS and is pursuing a Certificate in Gender, Peace and Security. She graduated from Davidson College in 2019 with a dual degree in Political Science and Latin American Studies, where she carried out  in-country research examining the impacts of transitional justice and peacebuilding, and modes of dispute resolution in Guatemala and Colombia. Rebecca is currently a Research Assistant at the Center for the Advancement of the Rule of Law in the Americas (CAROLA) at Georgetown Law.

Most recently she was a Program Associate at the American Bar Association’s Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) where she supported judicial training and anti-money laundering programs in Mexico, Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina. Prior to joining ABA ROLI, she was a research assistant with the Stanford Governance Project and interned with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and with the Capital Area Chapter of the United Nations Association of the United States. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys running and watching cooking competitions.
