Bio: Kelsea earned her B.A. from American University in 2018, where she studied international studies with a specialty in peace and global security. During her time at American University, she participated in the Future Operation Environment study conducted by the Department of Defense, researching the duration of conflict in urban areas. Kelsea currently works at the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation as the Program Manager. She has worked in both local government and on Capitol Hill. Kelsea has spent the past five months studying security and international relations in Madrid, Spain. During her time at Georgetown, she is eager to assess how illegal drug trafficking perpetuates conflict, competition, and a state of corruption.
