CLAS Event Series
CLAS Event Series
CLAS organizes three types of event series each academic year: the Latin America Research Seminar (LARS), Latin America and Caribbean Moments (“LAC Moments”), and our Ambassador Series. Each series addresses issues, challenges, and opportunities in the region from a different vantage point. We welcome the entire Georgetown community to attend the events in each series.
Latin America Research Seminar (LARS)
More information about LARS can be found here: Latin America Research Seminar (LARS)
Latin America and the Caribbean Moments (LAC Moments)
LAC Moments is a series of round-table discussions focusing on the most pressing current events – political, economic, socio-cultural and more – in Latin America and the Caribbean. The purposes of LAC Moments are to address and analyze significant contemporary issues in the region, and to catalyze deep and engaging conversations within our community.
If you would like to propose an event for discussion in LAC Moments, please email clas@georgetown.edu.
