Abby Bowman is originally from Wilmington, North Carolina, and recently graduated from Wake Forest University with Honors in Latin American Studies, positioning her as an accelerated candidate for the Georgetown MA. She has international study and professional experience in Havana, Cuba and Santiago, Chile; her most recent position in Santiago being with Corporación Opción, an NGO that works to protect and promote the rights of children and adolescents in Chile. Her concentration is Development and Political Economy, and she has particular interests in entrepreneurship and youth.
