Hometown: Quito, Ecuador.
Bio: Bernarda was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where she studied Political Science and Advertising/Public Relations. She is passionate about communications and conflict resolution relevant to extractive tendencies in Latin America.
As the President of the McCourt Energy and Environment Club, Bernarda aspires to promote change and sustainable practices within the Georgetown community. She aspires to bring to light how climate change is deeply affecting the Latin American region and discuss possible solutions.
In her free time, Bernarda enjoys drawing and reading, talking to people with diverse perspectives, and spending time with family and friends.
