Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Keva earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Siena College, Loudonville, NY. After completing her undergraduate degree, she was a North American Language and Cultural Assistant in Spain, a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer after 27 months of service in Colombia. She recently interned as a Congressional Legislative Fellow in the office of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (TX-18).
