Bio: I graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a minor in Spanish, with a concentration in Comparative Politics. Before transferring to the University of California, Davis, I obtained my Associate of Arts in Spanish and Political Science. I also participated in the study abroad program at Cambridge University. During my undergraduate, I had the opportunity to take leadership roles as a Student Senator, Secretary, and a member of the UC Davis National Society of Leadership and Success. During the UC Davis Washington Program, I had the opportunity to complete a research and intern for Advocacy Associates.
While at the University of California Davis, I was able to study Latin America and the United States diplomatic relations, while comparing political concerns regarding security and economics. Traveling to Latin America and taking courses on Latin American policies has contributed to my academic goals of pursuing diplomacy, focusing on political conflicts, and addressing the root causes in combating transnational crime. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Latin American Studies and a certificate in Diplomatic Studies.
