Elisabeth Wachtel is a current senior in the Walsh School of Foreign Service, originally from New York City. She is pursuing an International Politics major with minors in Economics and Spanish. Outside the classroom, she has completed several internships in the US government, including in the Senate Homeland Security Committee and at the US Department of State monitoring PRC influence in the Caribbean. In addition, she is fluent in French and Spanish. She participated in Georgetown’s Spanish summer immersion program in Quito, Ecuador in the Summer of 2022 and was most recently abroad at the Universidad de Complutense in Madrid, Spain for Spring of 2023.
