Bio: Lucas is a first-year student in the Master's program. Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, he moved to the United States at the age of 12. He recently graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude with Honors, in Political Science with minors in History and Honors Transdisciplinary Studies. During his undergraduate career, he was part of the Model U.N. team at NSU, going to three separate conferences.
Lucas chose to further his studies at Georgetown due to the proximity of NGOs and the Federal government, both places he would like to work. His current goal is to become a Programs Officer acting across Latin America.
